Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for technical services and a knack for leading projects from inception to successful completion? A leading specialist in environmental and climate systems is seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Manager to oversee multiple projects across various locations. In this pivotal role, you will be the central point of contact, connecting clients, project engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. We are looking for a natural leader who combines robust technical knowledge with exceptional organizational skills, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, your day-to-day will involve a dynamic mix of strategic planning and hands-on execution. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing multiple technical projects within your designated operational area.
- Conducting site visits and client consultations to thoroughly assess project requirements and scope.
- Preparing project execution plans, setting up work sites, and effectively managing project engineers.
- Coordinating the timely procurement and availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Diligent monitoring of project schedules, resource allocation, costs, and overall progress.
- Maintaining consistent and clear communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status.
- Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and relevant guidelines throughout all project phases.
- Performing final inspections and ensuring meticulous project handover and client satisfaction.
- Evaluating project outcomes, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and preparing detailed reports.
- Collaborating closely with the Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager, and other internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant vocational education (MBO level) or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
- Extensive experience in a leadership role within technical services or the technical cleaning/maintenance industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, organization, and team management, especially with multiple concurrent projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer-centric approach.
- Proven ability to maintain an overview, take initiative, and act decisively when challenges arise.
- Solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and environmental legislation.
- Valid driving license (BE category) for car and trailer.
- Possession of a valid VOL-VCA certificate (Safety Checklist for Contractors for Operational Managers).
