Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality heavy-wall welding on various materials and structures using different welding processes (e.g., MIG/MAG, TIG, SMAW), ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Read, interpret, and work accurately from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality, performing necessary repairs as required.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures on all project sites.
- Maintain welding equipment in optimal working condition and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
Requirements
- Proven mid-level experience (3+ years) as a Heavy-Wall Welder, specifically with thick-walled materials.
- Valid and relevant welding certifications (e.g., ISO 9606, ASME IX) for various heavy-wall applications.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
- Strong understanding and strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Possession of a valid driving license (B) and a willingness to travel to various project sites throughout the Netherlands.
